Oh, I wedged a large screw driver through the hole on the coupler to stop it from spinning and used the proper socket and breaker bar. You should be able to slide the coupler back pretty far… until the prop touches the rudder anyway.

In MN you are required to pull the plug when boat is on road. Plug comes out as soon as boat leaves water.

Always a good idea to clean the throttle body first. You could also consider a full tune up including plug wires if it has been a while.
I would test the fuel pressure, check the temperature sensor (for the ECM), and if that doesn't do it, take a good look at the IAC (which you just cleaned in the throttle body).
