    • How is this for foiling on a small wave -- that's my buddy on the 17th wake!  Insanely far back.  he rode it long enough for me to loop back and pick him up on 1st wave again.

I’m going through this issue as we speak when the motor is running water comes in near the starter on my merc 7.4 I was told it could be the freeze plug did you get the issue resolved without pulling the motor out?

    • Letter sent to sales and tech support.

As the manual is mere printed  letter  pages with a multi-hole plastic binder, I assume a PODemand would  be easy for them.

Meanwhile, I'm out today teaching my grandson  how to ski and drive, and the engine backfires - the first time we didn't know what it was, but when I was at the helm, I recognized the sound.  Not encouraging....

Thanks for the clue; after looking at the physical specimen, it was obvious that this should be easy to custom print and bind.

    • Hi, y'all,

Yesterday I replaced all 4 aft lifts.  What a difference...

The starboard one had been damaged and ripped out of the cover at some time in the past, so I snitched 3 screws from the other 3 lifts, TBReplaced ASAP, but got them installed.

Oddly, they all "feel" the same despite the two in the engine room would not hold it up, but the port hatch happily rose on starting the lift.  The other same-length one is the bow cubby and it works so I'm ignoring it for now.

Both pairs (they come in pairs from Amazon) set me back all of ~36 bux (17.95/pair): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09TD9679H/.
And, I got 40 SS vents for the seats @ 2.55/20 - I liked them so much I just ordered another 20: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BMTH9CLF - since each seat portion seems to have 5-6 plugs/vents, so I took some of the remaining black plastic ones recovered from the seats which had lost most of them to fill the blanks - along with some caribiners to make up fixed/ready to clip dock lines.

      Slowly, slowly, we're getting there...

Hello and thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to share info.

I have a 91’ sunsetter that I am having a couple electrical issues with.

First things first, is it normal for the blower to turn on as soon as I connect the battery?

As for my real issue, when I went to test the bilge to make sure it is working properly the blower kicks on. Looking for trouble shooting advice on why this may happen. Not super savvy in the electrical department, so any detailed advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have down loaded some info for you . without a schematic it will be hard to diagnose. good luck
