    • All of the fuel filters on Indmar GM engines with in-tank fuel pumps that I've seen have a metal in-line fuel filter attached to the bank 1 side of the transmission (port on a direct drive).  It is Indmar PN 556003. 

      The filter socks for the Millenuim in-tank fuel pumps do not require regular service.  There is a kit, Malibu PN 006541, containing a pair of filters if for some reason they would need replacement.  A new pump gasket and a dozen washer seals would be needed when reinstalling the pump.  I highly recommend only having an experienced marine technician, very familiar with this procedure doing the work.  That is NOT what I would consider a DIY job.

      You need to flip those switches so they both face up or down - my eyes are burning!!

    • I just got off the water and had the same issue.  We typically don't run much over 32 (our slalom speed) but when taking it up to full throttle, it just cut out and went to idle.  I too was able to clear the "engine fault" or "service required" on the readout and continue running.  Fine at all speeds other than wide open.  I saw something about possible issue with the two stage fuel pump???

      Just replace the battery this spring.

      I will have to check fault codes as described above after this storm passes.

    • AC Delco and Accel part numbers.  The Delco is auto stuff - aluminum.

      Nice. Thanks for that info. How are you getting 650 in the nose? Losing the seating? And when we had 9 people in there, there were 3 girls in the front with all tanks full. I kinda messed up and turned around and hit a couple waves by accident and waves absolutely poured in drenching them. Can’t imagine with another 650lbs in there!! I knew I would have to get bags for the lockers. 
      I will also look into the prop.

      When you stop and have to turn to pick up rider:  turn in place. Stay inside your wake. Slow down gradually, spin the boat around in place. Do not go over your wakes. If you go over your wakes you will take on water.

       

      In your pic you are surfing on the wrong side. Not “wrong” but unusual. For goofy foot rider you want to be on driver side of wave: suck gate on passenger (port) side. All people on driver side and/or in nose of boat. If you were pumped last week wait til you get this all dialed in! Excited for you and your family. Hope this all helps
