Dash looks great.  No Perfect Pass or cruise control of any brand?  For skiing that is a must have.  Did you have to repair the dash screw inserts on the gray plastic housing?

Yes, new rivnuts, went a size up.  Added a new tool to my collection.  The dash panel actually wedges in there really tightly so it's a good, very solid fit, with 8 lightly tightened nuts it will hold well.

We don't ski much on this boat, mostly foot and wakeboard.  And, everyone that's driven it is amazed at how easy it is to hold speed (using GPS phones apps).  PP is like $1,400 and I can't justify that, at least not currently.  Maybe someday if we get a slalom course in the lake.

Please post what you find because I have the same issue and just bleed the bags from the top to purge air almost everytime I fill.   My 22VLX and A22 were both the same way so I assumed it's just the way it is.

My boat is at the dealer or I'd check.

I'm not home but when I get home I'll look and take pics and see if I can't help more. It will be like Friday ish.

Try a shop that does Window and Patio awnings for your repair

If you live somewhere that is a thing.  ;)

I have a 2012 Response TXi with an Indmar 330 LCR EFI-MPI (330 hp).  I can't located a fuel filter on/near the motor.  It has a Malibu PN 3020517.1 fuel pump in the tank.  The Malibu parts page doesn't list a fuel filter with this fuel pump.  Where is the fuel filter?  What is the part number?

    • We were in a similar situation - 2008 Malibu 247.  Flawless boat, ran great, etc.  We just got to the point that we wanted the latest tech and ended up buying a 2022 23 LSV.  Zero regrets so far although only a few hours on the new one.  My wife is not a big watersports person but loves the lake and boating.  She wanted zero carpet above all else, LOL.  She also wanted the flip swimstep and a better stereo.  Checked all those boxes.  Kids are older now but still come out with us all the time and they are all watersports nerds and love the quick set-up for wakeboarding and surfing.  We looked at a 25 LSV which would have given us similar interior space, but my lift is only 6600 lbs and so we went 23 LSV and so far zero issue with space. So much deeper than the old boat and the storage is much better in the 23 vs the old 247 due to depth of all the compartments, etc.

Assuming you are not going to put yourself in a bad financial position doing the upgrade, I say go for it and you will enjoy the new ride for sure!  Good luck!
