When you stop and have to turn to pick up rider:  turn in place. Stay inside your wake. Slow down gradually, spin the boat around in place. Do not go over your wakes. If you go over your wakes you will take on water.

In your pic you are surfing on the wrong side. Not “wrong” but unusual. For goofy foot rider you want to be on driver side of wave: suck gate on passenger (port) side. All people on driver side and/or in nose of boat. If you were pumped last week wait til you get this all dialed in! Excited for you and your family. Hope this all helps

Ok. Thanks again for the info. My son fell a few times, and started laughing saying “ I think I’m on the wrong side” so he tried on the same side of the boat, but feet facing the wave and was able to go for awhile till he ran out of push from the wave.
      So, we’re getting there!! 😂

I have a 2012 Response TXi with an Indmar 330 LCR EFI-MPI (330 hp).  I can't located a fuel filter on/near the motor.  It has a Malibu PN 3020517.1 fuel pump in the tank.  The Malibu parts page doesn't list a fuel filter with this fuel pump.  Where is the fuel filter?  What is the part number?

Why do you think you need one?

Total. So we used 8-9 gallons for 3-4 hrs of run time that would be about 2.4 gallons per hour roughly?

I wish that was possible LOL! Something is off with your numbers. Surfing with short gaps to switch riders is gonna be more like 7ish+ GPH, with wedge being a major variable in how big that plus sign can be.

    • All of the fuel filters on Indmar GM engines with in-tank fuel pumps that I've seen have a metal in-line fuel filter attached to the bank 1 side of the transmission (port on a direct drive).  It is Indmar PN 556003.

The filter socks for the Millenuim in-tank fuel pumps do not require regular service.  There is a kit, Malibu PN 006541, containing a pair of filters if for some reason they would need replacement.  A new pump gasket and a dozen washer seals would be needed when reinstalling the pump.  I highly recommend only having an experienced marine technician, very familiar with this procedure doing the work.  That is NOT what I would consider a DIY job.
