    • Hi, y'all,

Yesterday I replaced all 4 aft lifts.  What a difference...

The starboard one had been damaged and ripped out of the cover at some time in the past, so I snitched 3 screws from the other 3 lifts, TBReplaced ASAP, but got them installed.

Oddly, they all "feel" the same despite the two in the engine room would not hold it up, but the port hatch happily rose on starting the lift.  The other same-length one is the bow cubby and it works so I'm ignoring it for now.

Both pairs (they come in pairs from Amazon) set me back all of ~36 bux (17.95/pair): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09TD9679H/.
And, I got 40 SS vents for the seats @ 2.55/20 - I liked them so much I just ordered another 20: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BMTH9CLF - since each seat portion seems to have 5-6 plugs/vents, so I took some of the remaining black plastic ones recovered from the seats which had lost most of them to fill the blanks - along with some caribiners to make up fixed/ready to clip dock lines.

      Slowly, slowly, we're getting there...

Hello and thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to share info.

I have a 91’ sunsetter that I am having a couple electrical issues with.

First things first, is it normal for the blower to turn on as soon as I connect the battery?

As for my real issue, when I went to test the bilge to make sure it is working properly the blower kicks on. Looking for trouble shooting advice on why this may happen. Not super savvy in the electrical department, so any detailed advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have down loaded some info for you . without a schematic it will be hard to diagnose. good luck

    • Thanks for the reply and for your input. My dealer doesn't have a 23 LSV right now and it's 3+ hours to another dealer. Needs and desires: a better surf wave than my 21vlx which needs a 600 triangle bag sitting on the bow cushions for a good wave.

Found an old Brochure that shows the MEMS black box. This should give you an Idea of what to look for.

@csleaveris correct, surf gate transfer alarm horn. It's on my 2015 23 LSV. Although I have to admit, it's getting harder for me to hear it. I usually watch the lights and time my transfer that way.
