Hello and thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to share info.

I have a 91’ sunsetter that I am having a couple electrical issues with.

First things first, is it normal for the blower to turn on as soon as I connect the battery?

As for my real issue, when I went to test the bilge to make sure it is working properly the blower kicks on. Looking for trouble shooting advice on why this may happen. Not super savvy in the electrical department, so any detailed advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have down loaded some info for you . without a schematic it will be hard to diagnose. good luck

    • Thanks for the reply and for your input. My dealer doesn't have a 23 LSV right now and it's 3+ hours to another dealer. Needs and desires: a better surf wave than my 21vlx which needs a 600 triangle bag sitting on the bow cushions for a good wave.

    •  Found an old Brochure that shows the MEMS black box. This should give you an Idea of what to look for.

@csleaveris correct, surf gate transfer alarm horn. It's on my 2015 23 LSV. Although I have to admit, it's getting harder for me to hear it. I usually watch the lights and time my transfer that way.

    • Same voltage issue on 2011 LSV.  Batteries show 12.6 when off.   14.4 at idle.   Malview shows about 11.6 when off and about 12.8  at idle.   When engine is off I get 12.6 everywhere with an exception in the fuse boxes.   I get 12.6 going into the boxes and 11.6 on the circuits that have a fuse installed, but I get 12.6 on all the empty bypass circuits that are right next to them.  It’s like all the switched circuits are being regulated down a volt and the bypass circuits are carrying full voltage.    Maybe this will mean something to one of you guys and help move the ball on this one.
