My 2023 M220 has the EQ feature. I wonder why some models have it and some don’t.

Can you see what Software you are on? Wondering if I need to pull in another update.

I also don't understand how so many of my neighbors are able to use their boat lifts with the one tiny little panel and a very small battery box (I was told they are not using lithium batteries but don't know). I haven't been able to connect with anyone that can provide details on the setup. Most homeowners obvoiusly have no clue other than, "it works".

I ended up with 4 panels on my dock. 2x100W and 2x200W. Recently converted over to 24V (2x Group 27 Deep Cycle FLD batteries) due to getting a 24V DC motor for my floating lift. For us, most of our usage for the solar capacity is actually the Starlink dish, which is fairly power hungry. Having it run 24/7 is challenging.

I use these, they are adjustable and work great. Also bought SUP racks as well.

    • Back on this topic again but now with a new boat and different lights. This time I have a 2021 M220 and just purchased a RBG light from Boat Plug Lights. I also bought the controller from them which uses a remote or app through bluetooth. I would rather use the factory screen and will go down that road later.

My question is, does anyone know the exact location of the pre-wired "trigger" wires for the transom lights? I am aware that I must use a relay and have already purchased said relay. I crawled in the boat late last night but didn't see anything obvious. Once I get the light working with the controller from Boat Plug Lights, I will attempt to wire the controller into the factory screen. It is surprisingly difficult to find info on the wiring for these boats so any info would be appreciated.

I will do better this time and report back with my findings and pictures etc. I definitely failed at that last time.

Our dealer has been in contact with you all.  They stated that Malibu has de-featured all newer models to not have a proper EQ.  This stinks....
