As funny as it may sound, your wife's ski looks to be pretty flat crossing the wake in the video you posted. If she was more on edge she wouldn't notice the roller as much (and wouldnt be as affected by the wake on your vtx). I'm even surprised to see how large the roller is behind the response in that vid. Overall technique when crossing the wave can help.

Has anyone found anyone selling older malibu skins?  The factory has them 5-6 years after the model year then they’re no longer available…I was able to get one last fall for my 2017 lsv which was 6 years but this spring they’re unavailable being 7 years…trying to find the factory ones for color/texture match.  Or if someone knows the supplier they use, anything would be helpful!! Thanks in advance

Good point, and I understand.  It's a cost effective solution given the OP's situation less the benefit of zero off.

Do yourself a favor and find a well cared for gen 1 Response LXI.  They're fantastic ski boats and you could find one for a reasonable price.  Then you can use the VTX for other purposes and keep the wifey happy.  If it were not for the fact that our RLXI didn't get used much as our kids are growing older, I never would have sold it.  They are outstanding boats and at the price point, tough to beat.
