    • I have an awesome 23 LSV that I keep in a wet slip all summer.  When I pulled it out of the water last fall I noticed there were faint rub marks from my fenders (newly purchased).  I'm wondering if I'm tying "too tight" to the dock and "squishing" the fenders too much such that they rub on the gelcoat consistently.  Any advice out there whether to tie up "loosely" with space between the dock/fender/boat or tie up "tight" with no space between the dock/fender/boat. I also purchased fender covers/socks to help prevent this....any thoughts on using these to prevent the rub/marks on the gelcoat?

    • PSA: Engine codes for Raptor Motor

Just passing along information that I had trouble finding.

These are codes that I've had the past two years. 2018 23LSV

SPN 4238 FMI 0 - O2 Sensor Pre Cat Starboard Side

SPN 3271 FMI 4 - O2 Sensor Post Cat Starboard

SPN 3261 FMI 4 - O2 Sensor Post Cat Port Side (swapped bad sensor side to side)

SPN 100 FMI 0 - Oil Pressure Sensor (Dash showed 0 psi)

SPN 100 FMI 3 - Oil Pressure Sensor (Unplugged as a test)

Bought the boat at the end of '22. Had pre-cat code spring of '23. Part on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EZQIOUI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Post cat code this spring, ordered from https://www.bakesonline.com/

Oil pressure sensor a week later. Ordered from https://www.bakesonline.com/

Not sure what the root cause for any of these are, but the new sensors have fixed and cleared the codes.

Shout out to Bakes. Never ordered from there but I picked the cheapest shipping (USPS), and it came in 2 days. Twice!

    • I think you can use a threaded pvc cap as a temporary substitute

    • Ok continued issues update.  So frustrating!

this past weekend I pulled amp panel board and removed all old wiring from a previous owners install and removal.  That was extra power wires (pos/neg) off the power distribution lugs, remote positive from other amp and RCA splitter and signal cable.
I can run the stereo without issues when engine isn’t running.  When engine is running, it will run a minute and then trip the ignition breaker again.  It seem to happen more quickly if I turn up volume louder.  Damnit!  Any ideas on what is pulling extra load to trip that breaker?  It can’t be a short this time because it doesn’t trip immediately.  Something too much current when stereo turns up.  What is it, help!?

I would think that the Cobalt dealer network would be a natural route to market...

I was thinking the same thing. The cobalt dealer in Denver has been around forever. But they don’t sell very many boats.
