    • It does, it's a continuation of last months deal so no change in price that I'm aware of because of it.

Hey guys, long time listener first time caller.

I am trying to dial in the surf wave on my new (to me) boat and it seems like the boat is working too hard to surf. RPMs are reaching around 4200 and the boat will not go faster than 10.6 no matter how much throttle/where cruise is set.

Some pertinent info: I have a 2014 24mxz with the ls3. Running a 2419 prop at 6200’. All mls full piggyback rears full and 200lbs sand bags up front also. Wedge at two clicks from full.

Even with the extra weight up front it seems like it is still riding pretty bow high. Will more weight up front help the boat plane better and bring RPMs down?

      Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Try no wedge first as you shouldn't be out of rpm at 4200, although maybe in that altitude with that motor you are.  If no wedge works for more speed then you know it's prop/motor. Also try surfing without the wedge too

Thanks for the reply and for your input. My dealer doesn't have a 23 LSV right now and it's 3+ hours to another dealer. Needs and desires: a better surf wave than my 21vlx which needs a 600 triangle bag sitting on the bow cushions for a good wave.

The mxz will get you that IMO, but could be worth a trip to comp the other options too.  It's a lot of money to just take what they got without a sniff anyway

    • No Bleach!  Need a photo of the seats. Magic eraser can damage the vinyl, at least if I am using one.  I use Boat Bling Vinyl Sauce.
