Yes, your advice and videos are very helpful. Thank you. We are experimenting and considering all options.

Keep experimenting. You weren’t sold false hope. It sounds like she has a good true training setup so in my opinion you guys should focus on finding a setup or two that has a good wake so she can focus on the key take aways from her standard training and repeat them behind your vtx. It’s an awesome boat. When I was skiing competitively I didn’t have access to the course for every set. So I would do a lot of open water skiing focusing on three key points. It’s great repetition practice.

    • So no real moorings to speak of.  The boat literally sits in the water all summer.  The lake is small, and the marina somewhat protected, but the boat bob around.

My current set up is to string 3 26" fenders (now with covers) in between the boat and the dock. So those also sit in the water.  The dock is way below the rub line on boat.

2022 LSV.  Blue and white.  Blue is below the water line at the back of the boat, but mostly it's white in the water.

I use Boat Juice to clean before/after and once during the season when I pull the boat out for a trip. I have used the Boat Juice "ceramic" coating as well.

    • As an update, I finally took the boat in as I was unable to track it down.   Looks like the throttle control box and alternator both failed.   I can't tell if I am surprised both things happened at the exact same time in the first 2 weeks of the season or if it makes sense.  Still waiting to hear if the alternator resolves the stereo issue, I am assuming the low voltage may have put the amp into protect mode.

Did you read through my thread? I took videos of the best setups I could find at those speeds too. Calling it a disaster is a disservice but I do agree, it is not a tournament ski boat level and it was never intended to be.

If it’s the worst ever then probably the only option is to sell it and buy a real ski boat. 🤷‍♂️

      happy wife= happy life

      Unfortunately, that is one option.
