Friends and I have talked about doing that a lot, but just never have. After a good drenching of rain there are some nice ditches that would be perfect to ride in around here. However, they are cold, the weather would be cold, their dirty, and I am pretty sure its illegal...oh yeah, and we have a boat!

The only draw back I see is that if he suddenly stops for any reason (ie. submerged object, or bottoms out), he's gonna hit the ground really hard. Or, if he goes off course for any reason, he's gonna hit pavement on one side.

seemed like there was a real fad in wakeboard movies a few years ago to have a section on dicthing.

one good one i saw (cant recall the movie) they were towing the boat behind the truck, saw a nice long stretch. pulled up got the boards out and rode from the tower off the boat. as you do of course

a few aussie companies have started making and selling winch systems, so anywhere there is a puddle kids are getting out and ridin it
