That's a sweet looking boat.

What's a combing pad?

It took a lot of pleading and $400.00!

PS You should see it now. I added (w/tape) a 1/4 white stripe between the Rueben and Black on the side and I now have my Rueben Boatmate trailer. I will be updating my photo's this weekend.

the graphics look sick. i also love the fact that you got front speakers to. when i bought my new boat i thought about getting a VTX but i wanted the factory sound system and i also wanted bow speakers so that did not work out. hope you have fun with the boat. Biggrin.gif

Very nice looking boat. Can I ask why you went with a single axle trailer? Doesn't seem right to me, but I'm not schooled in the ways of trailers yet. My vRide will be here in a few weeks on a tandem axle, and I would assume a boat that is 300 lbs heavier should have a tandem axle trailer too.

Just curious.

Thanks,

Shawn

A tandem axle is nice going down the road, but try spinning one by hand in a tight driveway if you need to, even with a trailer dolly. Just a trade-off to consider.

1> Easier to move around (key for me since I have to make a 90 from my driveway to get into my garage) 2>Less expensive 3> Talked to Boatmate directly and given the width of a VTX they can only use a 5,600# Axle on a single. 4> The boat only weigh's 3300# 5> I have had both torsion and spring and torsion is the only way to go 6> If the MFG. designs the trailer with the proper tounge weight it will tow almost as good as a tandem (which it does)

Very cool. Now I've been schooled a bit. :)

Thanks for the info.
