Depth Finder for 2001 Response

I’ve been wanting to get a depth finder for my boat for a while. The previous owner installed a depth guage but no sonar. I’ve had the boat for around 10 years and want to know what’s going on underneath me. Anyone have any suggestions on depth gauges and sonars? Ideally I do not want to drill through my hull. If anyone knows of a good “shoot through hull” depth finder that would be ideal. Otherwise I would want to mount it somewhere I don’t need to drill

Does your boat have a paddlewheel for the speedometer?  If yes, the hole is already there and if the unit you have doesn't have the depth gauge wire you can simply upgrade the existing paddlewheel which is most likely an Airmar unit:   https://www.airmar.com/

I have a Faria combo depth and air/water temp gauge.  Works great.
