2015 A22 Service Required ECM

Recommended Posts

I recall a discussion topic of 2015 A22s having Service Engine issues when they first came out.  Potentially a fixable ECM or software issue, where tolerances were set incorrectly?

Happens when wedge down and ballast full with surf gate out.  Does not happen when running normal, not in surf mode.

Still having same issue every spring and looking for assistance.

If there is Service Engine alarm, there should be a fault code (SPN FMI) that will help determine what may be causing the alarm.  There are two ways to find the fault code.  Use the CHECK FAULT CODES option in the tachometer settings menu while the ECM fault is actually active, or use a laptop with Rinda Diacom and the diagnostic cable with the CAN adaptor connected to the engine harness DLC to read the codes.
