2023 LSV flush kit

Attached hose to flush kit, turned water on, started boat, water came out of pick up but let it run for close to a minute and nothing out of exhaust. Not sure if there’s a valve or something I’m missing or if I just didn’t wait long enough?

There should be a valve connected to the water pick up. Close that valve and you should have better luck getting water into the engine.

Always shut the pick up valve.

@csleaver says he doesn’t close the raw water seacock, so I don’t either. We flush the boat after about half of our days on the water (one of our lakes is alkaline) and I’ve never had a problem.

I don't close the seacock either. Once I turn on the hose water spills out the raw water pickup until I start the engine.
