Hit a big wave and…..

Hey friends! I hit a big wave yesterday, and the boat stalled and wouldn’t start again. There was a error message on the screen that said “ECM connection error” or something like that. I googled from the water, and it said it was a Cannon plug but I couldn’t get that plug to go in all the way and connecting it didn’t seem to fix the issue. It’s possible I didn’t get the plug secured all the way. Any other thoughts?

1st thing to check is to make sure all the pins in that plug are not bent and are making a good connection.

Check the breaker panel connections by the throttle.
