They have been into everything over the years, but no longer bowling balls. I read up on them a few years ago and it’s an interesting story. Got on the topic after finding out the they own Lenco, via Navico.

Brunswick (used to be also called AMF or a division of Brunswick i think??) acquired harley davidson and ruined the company before the family took it back private.

isnt brunswick the bowling company .

maybe they should stay in their lane.

they even went and got the italians to build small HD cc 2 strokes onroad/offroad and a 350cc four stroke that all failed miserably.  made out of all metal instead of the more plastic versions the industry was changing to at the same time .  they came out the same time as the Honda Elsinors.  the small Harley's even had the big 2 up seats like italian biles for 2 up street driving when the elsinor had the narrow seat and frame for real dirt riding.

they did win Baja 1000 with the 100cc version as a claim to fame but it didnt translate into sales

I think we are talking about Brunswick Corp that owns Mercury Marine .. not the bowling company.

I have a Cypress Cay pontoon .. also Brunswick.
