Tundra barely has enough payload capacity for 4 big passengers and the hitch for that thing.   I'll take the over on your 1500 lbs. o/u wager.

I'd estimate human weight on that rig at 380 lbs or so, with two 85 lb labs, so you're likely right to take the over.

I see that all the time in Colorado. Heading south to Mexico. Crazy.

Saw that in NM just yesterday.  Guy going down I-25 in one vehicle, towing another vehicle behind with a freaking CHAIN that kept going loose and taut with a guy in the driver's seat steering.  We put distance between us and them quickly.  I-25 between Santa Fe and Albuquerque isn't exactly flat.  Hope the guy in front didn't need to do any downhill panic braking!

Auction cars.

Previously auction cars.  Now on their way south of the border for repair/part out is my guess.

You see them going every direction hooked up like that.  Not just south.

Yeah, also west on I-10 and I-20, but never east, and never north on I-85 or I-75.   Your observations may not match mine.

Agreed. I see them going south on I25 all the time. I’ve never seen them going another direction. In my area they all seem to be headed to Mexico.

Up here they bring them to states where you can make salvage titles disappear.
