Titan Battle racks

I put my boards on for the first time today and it just didn't seem right. I have the Battle racks (look sweet) on a Titan III tower, I also have the "clip off"? where you can remove the rack. The way they are mounted is on the swoop of the tower so the clamp part is at angle which is right where the strap would sit. It kind of has to go around a corner before I can hook it in. Does anyone else have this set up, if so are you having the same experience?

You're running into a bind with the bungy because of the angle of the Titan III. The battle racks came out long before the T III...back when the rear leg was much more vertical w/o the huge bend. The lift off mount used to be horizontal and now you basically have a 45 degree angle. My suggestion is to remove the lift off mount on the tower and turn it around so the lift off lever points in the opposite direction.

...and be careful not to snap yourself in the face strapping the bungee cord in it's hook.

Speaking from experience? Biggrin.gif

Yep. Bungee cord to the face, sunglasses overboard and a not-so-happy Mr. Sheeprides. C'mon I can't be the only one that it's happened to. Dontknow.gif
