Centre ballast tank won’t drain

My 2012 VTX yesterday suddenly won’t drain centre ballast tank. Shows on screen that it is draining but nothing happens. Is there a fuse that might be blown? Thanks for any suggestions. Con

There are fuses for the ballast pumps under the dash in the power modules.

But no separate fuses for different pumps. Only centre ballast tank that won’t drain. Other three works fine. And don’t hear the pump when switched to drain.

Remove and inspect the center ballast drain pump motor for wear or damage.  See if it turns on after being removed (be very careful of the spinning impeller).

If the boat doesn't have power modules under the dash with fused circuits for all of the MTC screen controls or MUX controls like all 2008-2019 Wakesetters have, then the wiring may have been modified or changed by someone.  If that is the case, you may want to take the boat into a Malibu dealer so they can check it out

Thanks. That is exactly how mine looks. I was hoping there was just a blown fuse but that would affect all the ballast tanks then, so it must be the pump itself.

Each fill pump and drain pump has its own fuse in the power module, but you could have a faulty pump motor.
