Thank you in advance for any help. Should I take cover in to seamstress or is this something I can do myself with some sort of kit?

I just googled boat cover repairs in my area and found a local shop. It was very reasonable to have the seams repaired. Less than $50 for the three I needed repaired IIRC.

thank you!

You are going to need a patch on that.  Seam repair is not possible without one since the area the seam was is shredded.

thank you!

One of the pocket zippers for the ratchet straps on the back of my boat came off track almost right after I got my boat.  A couple years after I had the boat and tired of dealing with it, I put that on my list for the dealer to fix in the off season.  They gave me a brand new boat cover under warranty.  If you still have a warranty you might want to give that a shot with your dealer.

Hec ya i'll talk to the dealer about that. I have 1 more year on warranty. and the funny thing the rip was initially created when dealer had it when getting serviced and one of they guys over-ratcheted that corner. i didn't say anything since i like the people there and didn't want to complain.

Just take that bad boy over to the local Canvas upholstery repair. They should be able to restitch it perfectly and patch it on the inside making it even stronger than before.
