Clicking sound from tower speakers

My tower speakers are making a clicking sound. My amplifier is a Rockford Fosgate punch 500 W 2 channel.  When I turn on the stereo a blue/red light comes on the front.  My other amplifiers only have a blue light showing. 
Can anyone help me troubleshoot?

Same thing happened to me this summer. Clicking sound died to nothing eventually. I bought a new Rockford Fosgate amp on Amazon. Same model number I was replacing. Swapped it out. Stereo is back to sounding like new. 

Not a terrible job, but it isn't cheap - like $450 or something. Next move is to try to open up the amp that failed to see if it can be removed.
