2015 axis t22 CPS sensor issues

Recommended Posts

I have a 2015 axis t22 with a PCM 350 monsoon throwing a CPS sensor code (crank position sensor) (85 times to be exact). I replaced the sensor twice, and it didn’t fix the issue. I’m about to ohm out the harness and  sensor plug to make sure the wiring is good. Symptoms are loss of power at roughly 4k rpm’s, and going into limp mode. If I don’t touch the throttle the boat will rise back up to 4k rpm’s and continue to do the same thing. I can surf about 70% of the time if I don’t go over 20mph. My axis/Malibu dealer in town took 8 weeks to do distributor cap & plugs, and pushed me out another 8 weeks to get further troubleshooting. Any tricks or tips? Thoughts?
