Bimini Top Suggestions

Hello Crew,

I have a 2012 Wakesetter with the G3 tower. Looking to see what you are using for Bimini tops, which ones have worked the best, etc. I am expecting twins and need to get something up there to get shade on the boat.

I greatly appreciate your input and help!

Bakes has a couple decent options.  I have the short one that doesn't extend past front of tower.  Fits well, good quality hardware that mounts in the stock location.   Just be aware that ordering this time of year you might see it in a few months.

This is the one I was looking on Bakes. What made you go with this one and not the longer one that extended off the front?

We wanted some shade available in the back for the grand kid and folks who want to be out of the sun.  Nice weather is such a rare thing in MN that I didn't want it shading me ;)

When this is collapsed does it still cover all the chrome in the front on the tower? Or does this come off the chrome tower and fold into a boot?

It gets removed completely and put in boot that straps to tower.  Does not fold in place.

How easy do you guys find the bimini to open/stow?

The Bakes and Tower Bimini  large bimini's both look the same other than how they stow.

One looks to stow in the front of the tower while the other stows above the tower

It's a pain to put up yourself, easier with a helper

did the XL from tower Bimini.  They color matched the canvas to the boat.  Also opted for boat storage on top but i dont really use them that often
