2001 resplonse LX - Fenders and cleats

Hello,

I just purchased a 2001 response LX.  It didn't come with cleats or fender mounts.  Can anyone recommend but cleats and fender mount brackets and specifically where to place them?  

I'd rather not spend the $100 for the malibu cleats.  I was thinking of adding one towards the stern and one towards the bow on both starboard and port sides.

just be sure to get the pop-up kind or you'll drive yourself crazy with ski ropes catching them.

Highly recommend the "Neat Cleat."  Only drill 2 holes instead of 4 holes like others, and fully retractable.

i 2nd Attwood Neat Cleats. I installed them on my 2001. Measure 4 or 5 times before you drill. Start the drill backwards until you get through the gel coat, also make sure there are no hoses or electric behind where you are drilling. I also put sealant under each cleat. Look at some boats around your age and see if you like the cleat location, if not adjust it to your liking on your boat.
