I am super familiar with car stereos as I have put multiple big systems in throughout my life. I’m adding a second bank of batteries to the boat that will be charged with a DC to DC charger. The question I have is do I need to ground the second set of batteries to a grounding point on the boat (grounding hub I put in) or since the ground from the stereo will directly to the accessory batteries I don’t have to run another ground back to the boat?
