I have a 2010 VLX with around 400hrs that I started experiencing a vibration issue under 15MPH. I checked the prop and there is no visible damage and I have not hit anything. The only thing I noticed is it looks like there are metal shavings by my prop shaft seal. Any insight on what you guys think the vibration could be? I’m willing to wrench on it myself due to the nearest dealer being over 2 hours away.

Check your motor and vdrive mounts make sure they aren’t broken, shifted or loose. Something has shifted and is rubbing. 
Check that your strut isn’t bent as well.
