Looking for 2006-2008 VLX

Hi everyone

we are looking to upgrade our bow rider to a more sport specific boat.  So far I am leaning on a 05-08 VLX.  Cost being one factor, but looking more specifically for an analog system over a digital.  Hopefully that may eliminate a host of electrical issues or problems.   I’m looking for experience advice or any help this forum may offer.  Thanks

Clicked on your profile and I see you’re in BC. That era of VLX is going for crazy amounts of money right now, I would wait out for the right price. Seen some for 85k cad. Friend of mine bought one 4 year’s ago for 40k.

Hi! Just saw your post.. our '07 VLX is currently for sale in BC. Only selling because we just upgraded to a 23 LSV for more space as our boating crew grows. It's a fantastic boat that runs great and is awesome to get into all watersports.

Also might consider 2010-2013 vride. Should fall in same price range as 08 models.  Newer boat with likely less hours and G3 tower.  Same hull and analog with a few upgrades.  I had a 2011 vride and added GSA surf system with upgraded ballast system.  Great wave, same hull with advantage of newer boat and less hours.  Good luck in your search.  Lots of options out there.

Avoid the 2005 unless it has documented proof the bellhousing and flex plate have been updated.  2005's are notorious for the flex plat blowing apart, and both parts are the culprit.
