2013 VTX Shutdown issue

So was out for a slalom run with the neighbor this morning and twice as we were turning around to come back down the lake, the engine just shut off and then a second later the Maliview screen showed the screensaver and rebooted.  I shut if off, turned it back on and started back up as normal.  Did another ski run just fine.  3rd ski run same thing, in the turn to come back down the lake, engine just shut off and then a second later the Maliview screen showed the screensaver and rebooted - started back up and ran fine.  Took it out for a a hard run and some turns and ran fine.  Anyone, had this experience before and/or have any ideas as to what may have been happening - things to check, etc?

Maybe low voltage? Loose battery connection?

Thanks, that's a good hint and I'll definitely take a look at that, but as much as I'd love it to be that simple, I'm not too optimistic that is what it would be because when the engine dies the screens stay ON "Frozen" for a few seconds before they reboot.  Seems if it was a power issue the screens would go black even if just a blink off.
