Hoist addition to dock

I’m in Dallas area, likely using lake Lewisville. Any opinions on purchasing a hoist/lift?

I’m not familiar with this at all, but apparently I can buy one and literally move it if I wanted a different slip some day?

any idea on the cost / which product I should buy?

All depends on your water depth and bottom.  How deep is water in your slip?

I just bought a Hydrohoist 6600 lbs lift.  About $9K for lift and install.  I'd probably go 8800# with your boat, so probably over $10K with install.  You need some decent water depth for a floating lift like Hydrohoist.
