Malibu MXZ running strakes and boat lift pads

Hi,

At times when the water is rough my boat is offset slightly to starboard or port and the boat sits on what I believe are called the running or lift strakes.  See photo (hopefully it uploaded).  Is this a problem with the weight load on the strakes?  Do other folks have this issue?  Should I adjust my bunks to be more narrow like inside the strakes to help avoid this?

thanks in advance for advice.

I don’t think that this is a problem.  My lift is never perfectly aligned either.  On a trailer, I want to be centered, but on a lift I don’t think that it is as important.  The dynamic loads of a trailer, driving over bumpy roads are much higher than the static loads just resting on a lift.
