Gel coat repair

Hey guys I’m very new here and to the axis world as well. I came from jet boats all my life and running a prop now is a lot harder then I thought and I had a little trouble loading on the river one day and got a deep gouge right under the bow on the center ridge. I talked to a gel coat guy and he said it’s doable with just gel but he said I need to know the resin Axis uses in there gel coat so it can bond correctly. Does anyone know anything about that he thinks it might be polyester?

I would be absolutely amazed if it wasn't polyester.
