03'-06' Response LXI surf wake?

I've got a friend who is looking into getting a Response LXI. Anyone have any experience with weighting one down for surfing and if so, how is the surf wake?

I surf my RLXi. The trick is to keep the weight to a minimum. I have found that the wake gets foamy with too much weight. I lower the wedge and put 3-4 adults on the drivers side. That seems to work the best. Have tried up to 500 lbs of sac behind the driver and in various locations in the boat, but the wake just washed out, and the boat drove like a pig.

I wouldn't buy this model for surfing unless it is something you will only do on rare occasions. The sweet spot is small, the rider needs to have moderate to good skill, and the board size to rider weight ratio needs to be high (use a larger board than normal).
