is there a bluetooth adapter that will work by plugging in to the USB or Aux?

How does the AUX connect to the headunit?

I had the JL Audio MBT-RX in my last boat and it was fantastic. It’s just a Bluetooth dongle with rca outs. If you only have a 3.5mm headphone Jack input, you’d need a converter cable.

They all plug into aux somehow, but also need good power/ground.  These more permanent ones are way better than other options, but you CAN go with the cheapo dongle version from amazon.  They just don't work as well.

I highly recommend the wetsounds knob version.  Gives the driver skip/pause functionality when someone else in the boat picks a crappy song.

If you REALLY want to make this dialed, i also installed a delay relay on the power to the Bluetooth knob.  That way, the phone remains connected for a period of time when starting the boat, or flipping the key from run to acc, and eliminates the need for the phone/knob to repair each time.  A bit spendy, but worth it in my opinion.

I have the same one, which is also identical to the Exile Audio version, so buy whatever is cheaper.  Works really well.  I have it installed as a backup now as my Fusion head unit has Bluetooth built-in that (post firmware update) works well.
