Am I missing the link or something but there are no performance stats listed on any bosts in the 2007 waterski magazine buyers guide (web site).

Last year was great they even put up wake shape and size details.

Nope, you're not missing anything. It's hard to get performance data when you don't even drive the boats. Notice how all of the pictures are the same ones you see in the manufacturers brochures and on their websites?

This is yet another example of the BBG going downhill.

After plummeting down a hill for years, I think it is safe to say that with this issue they have bottomed out.

When they stared articles featuring wakeboarding I thought it had hit bottom.

Maybe the other manufacturers convinced them not to review so closely because of Malibu always being on top in so many areas, especially performance per dollar compared to that over priced so called mercedes brand.

That felt pretty good did it not !?!

I think there is actually a lot of truth to that. Malibu's frequently came out #1 in the performance and skiability numbers.

Agreed 100%, shows you where the revenue stream for WS magazine is.... advertising not subscription.

The review is very disappointing. I bought my first ski boat using a lot of information from the review back in 1994 when they had performance data included. I was certainly pleased with my choice (Malibu) and then bought a second Malibu, again using the data. Spent several hours combing over the information. The latest version got all of 5 minutes of my time. It certainly does absolutely nothing to aid in a boat buying decision. The information is close to useless in my mind, unless people are now just satisfied with a simple sales pitch and no data. I assume everybody goes to some other source to get data or information. There have been numerous complaints about the last few issues on the boat buyers guide, not sure what the best method would be to try to get the buyers guide back to something of value similar to the early-mid 90's. If you have the option, go check one out, it contains great information.
