2.7 XLT pulling a beast

The old XLT does a good job pulling this beast,  trailer and truck are mostly level,  there is a purpose to the standard rake on a pick em up truck.  props to @oldjeep

now with the 450 lead over axles and the new slightly taller upside down receiver it’s even more level than it was.

i did have to replace my receiver with a solid steel one as that old hollow stainless steel one could have just snapped .  i run the receiver upside down and it now has a 2” ball with 1 1/4” ball stem.  much more stout than my old set up that i ran too long the new rig

you could hear the old receiver and its slop clamp grinding from the heavier tongue weight with new whip,  the old clamp when removed had a worn groove in it,  new slop clamp is much more stout as well and the trailer is much more quiet even with windows down
