Rear center cushion replace with Gatorstep

Tear in the center cushion started small and then grew.   Took it to my upholstery guy and said new material would be needed.   Skins are available from Gabe but a new skin would contrast with the original and it still gets stepped on.    So I decided to pull the skin and foam and replace with matching Gator Step that I did recently.    Went with 18mm.   
Was originally hinged but decided to trim it down and use the extra material for a tab in the rear.  
 

No more excuses for stepping on the cushions!!!

We're redoing upholstery on both our project boat' a 93 f3 Sunsetter we have owned 12 days and have started calling "Shop Class" and our 94 Echelon LX this winter. While I'm a fan of keeping everything as original as possible, we intend to modify the solid full width back seat on both into the base w/ the left and right fixed position cushions, and a removable center cushion with step underneath... 

Seats are for bottoms, not feet...

We probably won't get started in earnest until after the new year...
