Illusion X Tower Speaker Bolt Pattern

Does anybody out there know the bolt size and spacing for the speaker mounts on an Illusion X Tower? I’m doing a complete overhaul of the stereo and I am going to build custom speaker mounts but my boat is in storage for the winter. Was hoping to build these mounts before I get my boat out but I cannot find these measurements anywhere. Any help is greatly appreciated

Checked the bolt pattern and fasteners for the speakers on our '04 VLX Illusion X tower. Bolt holes are 2-1/2 inches on center. 5/16" x 18 TPI bolts (stainless steel). Two bolts in a level plane.

What brand speaker can is this?

I have no idea of what brand name the speaker can might be. Tower manufacturer was Metcraft, and they went out of business long ago. 

I believe the speaker cans (aftermarket) are still available. 

I have seen them on Ebay and onlyinboards.com
