Watching TV on Screen

Hello all,

Does anyone know if any of the screens have an HDMI input or some other way of sending video to the screen?  Would love to figure out how to watch TV on either the larger center screen or the smaller android screen that controls the lights, etc...  Maybe using a fire stick, etc...

I have a 2022 M220.

Thanks!

The video input for the cameras is a standard RCA (at least they were, 2022 may be different), but no audio. But you would lose front/and/or rear camera inputs.

Thought the whole point of a boat was to relax and get away from the tv!!

Agree, but sometimes we're on the boat and college football is on, and while we're anchored and the kids are jumping off, we can catch the game.

Do you know how to access that input?  I could definitely figure out an alternative for audio

Should be in the port side glove box.

Keep in mind that an RCA input implies NTSC video.  You will need a tuner with an HDTV to NTSC converter.  Perhaps the best way (assuming you have the tuner part figured out) is a simple HDMI to NTSC converter such as the one that AdaFruit sells.  That will give you audio out as well, so you can plug that into an aux input on your audio system.

Honestly, it would be simpler to just buy a small TV and use an inverter to power it, or spring for a 12DC model.  You'll get HDTV and a much larger screen for about $150.
