Hmm definitely an interesting concept. I feel like there are way too many variables to get an accurate reading, larger tires, lifts/levelling kits, or how hard you accelerate.

Interesting.  If you calculate the mean value of the five runs posted in the review, you get 8720#, which is only 20# off from the scale weight.

Curt's mistake in this might be that they try to get accurate measurements with only one pull.  Averaging ten pulls should get you ten times better accuracy.

I could really use something like this for my flat bed trailer.  I have no idea how much weight I have put on that thing.
