Winter storage of boat hoist

Does anyone know if you can lower the metal canopy on the Shore station hoist?  Need to lower to improve lake view.

You can remove it from the uprights and lay it on the ground separately - probably the quickest and easiest way to deal with it.

On my 2003 Shorestation there are bolts in each corner that allows you to raise or lower the canopy.  Mine came from the dealer as low as possible and I've raised it so I can keep my tower up on my boat.

As @oldjeepmentioned it can be removed.

On mine you can only lower so far. The winch assembly keeps if from going lower. I’m with @oldjeep. It’s easier to take off and reinstall.
