Currently have a 2021 21 VLX

seeking some options if any of you guys had upgraded the Audio on 2021 Malibu.

The stock wet sounds are good however would like to add two more tower speakers to match. I am unsure if the boat is pre wired or if i will need a different amp?

As well, for this year they are mounted directly to the tower and do not have the shelf that holds both. I am seeking advice on these parts to work with factory setup.

Or, if you guys think doing just 2. REV 10's instead of 4 Icon 8's (factory speakers) would be better?

In addition, i am looking for what kits everyone has used to add more lights to the instead of my boat as well that will work with the factory touch screen. I do believe i can just wire these into existing and tap off of the interior lights that are already there, however I am just looking for best recommendations on the kits you guys have used.

Thank you and happy boating!

tower is prewired, but you will need an additional Amp

the factory speakers on the interior are quality, but need more power. Factory amps are very conservatively tuned. If you upgrade amps, you may be happier.

I would 100% go 1 pair of rev 10’s vs 2 pr icons. The icons are more focused on lower volume close range use.

Perfect!

Thank you so much for the input.

I may then just switch out the top 2 for REV 10's and upgrade the amp.

What amp might you reccomend?

At this point I wonder if it would be plug and play ?

you will need exile dsp (conservative smp) adaptors or others to complete your new amp install
