Is this oil ok to use?

Did an oil change on my boat and read online that diesel oil is ok to cause it’s the only kind that is 15-40. I used some but I didn’t see anyone say this one was ok to use, just want to make sure it’s ok to use before I take the boat out for the summer. I used the shell Rotella T5 15-40 synthetic blend Oil

It doesn't have a S type rating, but should be just fine.  A few years back Shell dropped the S type rating off most of the rotella oils.

What is s type rating? So it should be ok to run for the summer? Or should I change it out?
