It is time to update my response. Love the boat so want to give it a new look. I am looking for ideas on what people have done. Interior is already sent out and will be all white carbon fiber style vinyl with black piping. Windshield is off and frame is going to get powter coated and glass tinted. I do need advice on where to get windshild seals as a couple of them got damaged. My main question is what have people done with flooring. I was thinking some sort of sea deck style flooring but unsure what to do with sides and bow. Also curious what people have done with dash upgrades?  Lastly does anybody have real experience with wrap vs paint? I am trying to get quotes on painting or wrapping the boat as I would like it all Perl white

Welcome to the crew.

Your boat has gelcoat instead of paint.  You can wrap it, but it might be hard to do the entire boat and have it look right.  I suggest that if you want to change the whole thing to white, go with an aircraft type paint such as Awlgrip.  It will provide a great finish that is nearly worry-free, but it will take a great deal of prep to do the whole boat.  They do offer a great pearl finish also.

For others who are interested, I have seen several boats that were badly faded that got lightly wet sanded and then clear coated with Awlgrip.  Even the metal flake parts looked better than new, and the boats never needed anything more than a wipe down.

Apparently I am SLOW. I can't figure out how to add a picture.  It wants me to add as a url link and I'm not sure how to do that

If you are not a member, use a third party site like IMGUR.com or Gdrive, etc

@Shrek - welcome to the crew.  Nice boat, my ski & barefoot partner has one also.  Sourcing the windshield seals may be difficult, Taylor Made is the windshield manufacturer, if you find them please let us know your source.  Great Lakes Skipper may have some or simply finding a similar seal at McMaster-Carr or other industrial supply house should work.  I redid my dash when adding speed control as I wanted to keep the two Airguides so I simply made a blank panel (you can use aluminum, fiberglass or carbon fiber as the material) and drew up the pattern I wanted.  If you are adding a speed control system if not already there, install the screen on the right side of the dash as that is the standard and easier to use that way also.  I did a carpet install, very happy with it although I do keep the boat dry and everybody knows to at least drain the majority of the water off on the platform rather than in the boat.  I didn't do it but have thought doing a snap in carpet would be a pretty smart way to go.  You would have to get the carpet edges seamed if you did a snap in setup.  No experience with other flooring options as all the boats I ski behind are carpeted.  Lots of good online suppliers and videos / instructions for a carpet project.  I have seen a few posts on people doing a wrap, they seemed really happy with it, you might peruse  the MC and CC forums for hull refinish ideas.

Carpet and a hull surface redo are very labor intensive projects so budget your time carefully.  Good luck and when finished, that vessel will be quite the looker as IMO it is among the best looking ski boats around.

Not to derail this thread but why is this so hard to understand. When I ask some people to drip on the platform 15 seconds before getting in the boat you would have thought I told them beer wasn't allowed on the boat.
