05 Response LXI

Will a 05 Response LXI with a tandam axel trailer and triton III tower fit into a standard 7' garage door???

Worried about width and height. My garage is very deep so not worried about the length.

Thanks for any responses.

You need a 9' wide door if you have the Boatmate trailer.

You will gain some if you loosen the set screws and swing the guide poles in. You still may be right about the 9', I've never measured it before.

Guide poles are welded on the Boatmates.

Only some John. Ours have always been removable - for a while it was optional.

Typical overall width of a Boatmate trailer with standard tires is 8'2" - 8'3", at the outside of tires.

Is this true of trailers for both RLX and RLXi or is there a difference? Just wondering if I can get an RLXi in my garage. :) Door clearance is 8'9", RLX is there now.

I'm sooo glad the guides on my Boatmate are removable. On more than one occasion, I've gotten the boat so wopper jawed coming out the door that I've had to stop and remove one of them to bring it the rest of the way out.
