Check your swim deck locking clips!!

I would encourage everyone to make sure the locking clips you have for your swim deck have a good locking mechanism on them. Nothing like a lock that come loose! I have the '14 LSV. As many probably know the original clips just had a small notch. They replaced them now with a lease that goes around a ring that locks them in. SMART. I finished surfing and swam up to my boat Friday thinking it was on a serious lean, only to quickly figure out one side of the swim deck came loose and connected on the top link.  Anyone that has the original clips that just fit in and twist, I would recommend they replace ASAP. The new ones are only $20/ea and have that locking clip. Better to pay $40 for better clips than lose a swim deck. I do not want to even consider what that cost would be. Just a thought to share. I almost had a very expensive 4th of July!

14 axis pins were lost easy, first year without a retaining strap , same thing happened to me twice before new pins were with lanyard were available

40$ for each side on bakes. That’s pretty steep

I paid $46 or $50 total I think for the pair at my local dealer here in Excelsior, MN  ...MN inboards.
