What is this box?

I’ve been trouble shooting my stereo cutting out whenever I go over a bump and have found the issue. There is a box next to the amps (see picture) and there are about 4 black wires on the far right side that have some sticky goo around them where they go into box and if I barely touch them the amp under-power light comes on and the stereo cuts out. What is this box? Looks sealed, can I open it or does it void the warranty? Is this a dealer fix or can l do it myself?  Thanks in advance!

That is the “brain”, “head unit”, “main source”, whatever you want to call it for the stereo system. I don’t know if it is sealed or not. If you are still under warranty it should be covered. But understanding it’s the middle of summer if there are screws to open it up.. I’d probably be taking a look to see if it was something I could quickly fix myself.
