Not sure what’s going on radio worked last week. Plugged the battery charger in and then today head unit would not turn on. The amps all have power. Any suggestion on a fuse or breaker for the head unit. I looked under the dash none of those fuses are labeled radio.

I found the issue at the factory they wired the head unit power to one of the amps and that lead pulled loose. Not the way it should of been done so I wired it properly.

Before I put in a proper stereo after taking delivery on my 2017 22mxz I found the same thing with the factory setup.

Why anyone would design or do it that way is beyond me.

Based on what? If the the amps have proper voltage, on their power cables, but not the the turn-on lead, then back track to the media unit and measure voltage there.

Maybe it’s just me but if I was going to just shove a power wire in with the power wire for the amp. I would of soldier the 18 gauge wire to the 4 gauge amp wire or I would of wired the head unit 18 more inches to the power distribution block or the battery like the amps are. Just seems like this is an easy failure point. Like I said earlier maybe it’s just me. I haven’t done much stereo work in the last 15 years.
